About The Property

The ocean is only a short walk as well as Koko Marina where there are gift shops, an 8-theatre Cineplex, and water sports activities.  Included are jet skiing, para-sailing, scuba diving, speed sailing, banana boat, glass bottom boat, and bumper tubes.  20 minutes from this location, you can explore Waikiki’s nightlife or the history of Honolulu.  You can head the other direction and hike to Makapu’s Lighthouse or swim with the dolphins at Sea Life Park.  Within 10 minutes there are 2 golf courses and a driving and shooting range.

Nestled near world famous Hanauma Bay, we are located along the pristine coast of Oahu (The Gathering Place).  On the property, there are a variety of trees including coconut, orange, tangerine, lime, pomelo, mango, papaya, sapodilla, ice cream banana, pomegranate, strawberry-guava, fig, peanut butter fruit, sweet acerola cherry, and avocado.  We grow buckwheat and sunflower greens, as well as many vegetables and herbs.  Our trees and plants are fed seaweeds and neem and other ingredients found in nature.  We absolutely do not use any chemical fertilizers or sprays nor do we fumigate for bugs or insects.*

Vacation Inn Paradise was built in 1961.  It is located in Honolulu County in the City of Hawaii Kai, which is an old established suburban community.  It served as a private residence until the present owner purchased the property in 2001.

Both the buildings and the grounds have undergone extensive renovations and upgrades to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable.  Numerous trees and bushes were planted and are not only providing shade and beauty to the property, but they are also bearing fruit throughout the year.  Depending on what is in season during your stay, you will be able to enjoy this delicious bounty.

*Please Note: We are not a “chemical free” environment for those who are chemically sensitive.
