Accommodations

For those interested in traveling with all the comforts of home, we offer 4 “raw food” travel packages to choose from and each is designed for 2 people.  Our accommodations have a kitchenette which is equipped with a juicer, high powered blender for flax and sesame seeds, a food processor, and a low-temperature dehydrator to warm entrees if desired.  We have compost bins conveniently located for all organic kitchen scraps.  Each unit also includes a private washer and dryer, cable TV, DVD player, and high speed Internet access.  There is a private entrance, bathroom, and sitting area.  Additional amenities include an infrared sauna and swimming pool.*

Travel Package 1 $475 per day-double occupancy

The following entrees will be prepared as part of your package:

Day 1: Savory Stuffed Veggies.  Zucchini and pepper boats filled with a moist pecan stuffing.

Day 2: Living Lasagna.  A sensationally delicious combination of zucchini, spinach, macadamia nut cheese and marinara sauce.

Day 3: Pesto Eggplant Pizza.  Rounds of eggplant topped with our mouth-watering pesto and covered with a variety of vegetables.

Day 4: Exotic Pistachio Tempura.  An assortment of veggies coated with our sumptuous pistachio batter, dried at low temperature, and accompanied by our Asian Ginger Sauce.

*The following salad ingredients will be provided for your own preparation:

Salad greens, assorted veggies, dried fruit, nuts or seeds, avocado, and sprouts. 

Dressings  are House Vinaigrette and Creamy Ranch.

Travel Package 2  $500 per day-double occupancy

Includes everything in Package 1 plus the following:

Each day you will have a different prepared yummy seed or nut yogurt.  An assortment of seasonal tropical fruits will also be provided.

Travel Package 3  $525 per day-double occupancy

Includes everything in Travel Package 2 plus the following:

A prepared variety of condiments and desserts which includes sauerkrauts, pickled veggies, and seasonal tropical sorbets.

And Last But Not Least... Our “Do It Yourself  Travel Package”

$375 per day-double occupancy

Upon your arrival you will find a delightful basket of fruit in your room.  In this package, you are entirely on your own.  The kitchen will have all the necessary amenities and utensils for you to prepare your own raw food meals.

For all your raw meal shopping needs; Kale’s Natural Foods Store is located in the Hawaii Kai Shopping Center which is a leisurely 10-15 minute walk from Vacation Inn Paradise.

     *The sauna & pool and poolside dining areas are for adults only.

    The sauna and pool are available between the hours of 10AM - 6PM Daily.

This is a “Do-It-Yourself Retreat” with the following exceptions.  We will provide you with some already prepared items, and the rest is up to you.  We want you to enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of Hawaii on your time-table.  So for example, Package 1 includes a prepared entree for your dinner as well as a home prepared salad dressing.  Fresh organic salad ingredients will also be provided.*  All items will be left in your refrigerator, thus maintaining your privacy.  Your dining experience will be according to your own schedule.  You may choose to have a cozy dinner in-house, dine outside at poolside, or in the evening under the stars.  You can even pack everything up and have a picnic on the beach. 

Apart from the provision of these prepared items and the raw salad ingredients for your preparation, you are on your own.  Package 2 adds another prepared item along with fruits for your breakfast or lunch.  Package 3 gives you a selection of already prepared condiments and desserts.
